Oahu dinner cruises provide a great opportunity for you to get out on the water and enjoy the Waikiki coastline at the most colorful time of day. These special evenings also provide a wonderful opportunity to get out and socialize and perhaps "kick up your heels". Many people will remember these evenings as the most romantic of their time spent on Oahu.
Tom's Tips - Oahu Dinner Cruises
Your dinner cruise on Oahu is a great way to spend an evening and since you'll probably be going out to eat that evening anyway, why not choose a place to eat that cruises along the coastline?
Some of our Oahu dinner cruise boats actually carry hundreds of people, which initially seemed a bit intimidating to me, but later I realized just how fun they could be.
We often recommend that you wait until your last night to take an Oahu dinner cruise because the romance of the evening will be the final thing you remember about your Hawaiian holiday.
Alii Kai Catamaran If you're looking for a more casual themed dinner cruise that has a fun Luau party kind of atmosphere you might want to look into the Ali'i Kai Catamaran. The Ali'i Kai Catamaran is a very large (one-hundred and seventy foot) catamaran that is designed to look like an ancient ocean going Polynesian canoe. There is an open upper deck for taking in the Honolulu City views. The lower level is where the dinner tables and the dance floors are. The sides are open to let in the views and the ocean breezes. The cruise goes out of the harbor and heads down the coastline towards Diamond Head Crater. You'll pass an assortment of sailboats that are moored off of the sands of Waikiki with the lights of Honolulu flickering over them. As the sun fades into the horizon the part will begin to ignite. The Polynesian dancers will warm things up before the dance floor fills and the night's celebrations really begin!
