Description: Ride 100% on dirt! Go through the 1,000-acre Ka’a’awa Valley on Oahu's east shore. Dirt roads and single track meander throughout this lush, stream filled valley. We'll stop at a reconstructed Hawaiian hale (house) and Kalo lo'i (taro terrace) for some cultural narrative and make a quick stop in an old military bunker that has been converted into a movie museum for films shot within this historical valley. Scenic ocean views and sheer valley walls provide a stunning backdrop to this epic valley ride. Snacks and lunch are included. Points of special interest are Nuuana Pali, Kaneohe Bay and the Ko'olau Mountains. Beginner dirt roads and intermediate single-track options are available.*

You'll stop half way down at Manoa Lookout for pictures and narrative and a delicious deli style lunch. Once you reach the grassy park at the bottom, you'll then return to Waikiki by van.*

Stop in for a quick historical film on Kualoa's past before beginning an easy 15-minute hike to Hakipu'u overlook for a panoramic vista of Kaneohe Bay. Upon your return to the beachfront, you'll be outfitted with kayak gear. Just a quick 20-minute paddle and you'll be up close with China Man's Hat (Mokoli'i Island) as you stop for a quick snorkel with reef fish and green sea turtles.
