- Two of the most popular Maui water sports in the summer months are parasailing and jet skiing. Keep in mind however that these water sports are only available from May 15th to December 15th when the whales have gone home to Alaska.
- The "King" of Maui water sports is "surfing" as this is the sport that was originated in the islands by the Hawaiians. If you'd like to learn how, Maui is the place. Surfing Lessons and Surf Schools in Maui - Surfing is definitely the sport of Hawaii. Almost everyone that has grown up here has tried it at one time or another and most people that have learned to do it well have found that it is a sport they can do well into middle and even old age. It is a bit addictive I’m told, though I’ve never really been good at it. Many of my friends have been surfing for years and I think it keeps them young in spirit and body. If you’re bringing kids with you, you might want to give them a shot. We have great instructors and very consistent surf to learn on.
