Wake Maui
An X-treme activity that has only recently hit the Maui scene is wakeboarding. This sport has been popular for a long time in the lakes, rivers and inland waterways of the mainland but has only been recently popularized on Maui. Captain Ryan Hickey left his home of Montana to come to Maui and start his company Wake Maui. Wake Maui is run on a twenty-three foot Ski Supreme V232 called the “Grad School”. Excursions are offered that are suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced wake boarders. The morning trips are generally more calm and the afternoon trips tend to have a bit more bumpiness on the surface of the water from the afternoon trade winds.…

| Description: This time slot is reserved for activities towed behind the boat because the smoothest water is early in the day. A good reason to get up early even on vacation. Leave Kaanapali Beach early in search of a pristine piece of water. When we find it, each rider gets a half hour to wear those legs out. Sunrise from the volcano is great but try sunrise looking back on Maui from a ski or a board! This is one of the non private charters. Sure, you might sacrifice a little privacy, but you"ll make it up in new found friends.*
