We want to make your experience your own, guides are trained horseman and know the landscape well. | Description: Ride across the range through the warring grounds past Pi'imoi down the lava fields filled with Hawaiian Hale Koa and the Wiliwili trees, plenty of goats, pheasant and deer, picturesque seascapes unfold at every turn. You reach the beach in approximately 2 hours as there are a few stops for photos and to stretch along the way. Black stone and white corral stones create a Maui beach you have never seen before and only accessible by horse, or by boat and perhaps the avid hiker (about 3 hours from La Perouse on foot) much more enjoyable by horse. The ride along the coast is breathtaking, this half day beach ride stops at the second bay, shaded by a huge Kiawe where you break for a BBQ lunch for about an hour then head back up to the ranch.

| Description: This ride is for the person who really wants to explore the freedom of Kanaio.
You start at the ranch, ride through the open range, then down to Kanaio Beach along the old road.
Enjoy a three hour break, while your guide prepares lunch A BBQ Bully Burger picnic and refreshments, the guide tells stories of the past, along a short walk to an old fishing village where you'll see Old Hawaiian Hales and Canoe Hales. Your guide, Kawika or Keoni both raised in Kanaio will give a demonstration of the old Hawaiian fishing rituals "throwing net" if your lucky you'll have fish for lunch too!!
Take a hike up the other side of this beautiful bay and 10 min down the old Kings Road you'll find a pristine private Sandy beach. This makes for a great day with no one around but you and your guides. Very peaceful, if the water is calm go for a swim. Awesome day for anyone wanting to get away from it all !!
