One of the original snorkeling companies on Maui was Trilogy Excursions. Founded by the Coon brothers over thirty years ago and then passed on to their many sons and daughters Trilogy Excursions has gained a strong reputation for excellent customer service over the years because of their strong attention to detail. From the wording of their briefings to the secret family recipes the crew will stop at nothing to ensure that their clients are completely taken care of throughout the whole trip. With such snorkeling destinations as Molokini, Lanai and the Western Coast of Maui there are many very quality options of snorkeling locations to choose from. The trips that Trilogy Excursions is most well known for are the “Discover Lanai” and the “Discover Lanai Sunset”. These trips depart Lahaina for the island of Lanai where they let their passengers off to explore the island. A van tour is available or if you would prefer you can go straight to the beach where you will be greeted with a host of activities and snorkeling opportunities. These trips are suitable for all levels of snorkelers with lifeguards on duty and other members of the crew available to help guests with their snorkeling techniques. | Description: This trip is what Trilogy is best known for. Depart from Lahaina Harbor at around 10 am (occasionally there is a sunrise departure at 6:30am). Start your day with an island style breakfast of Mom's homemade Cinnamon Rolls, Coffee, Juice and Seasonal Fruit. Deli Snacks are also served on-board during the one and a half hour sail to this very special island. Enjoy the optional guided tour of Lana‘i's historic plantation town, in an air-conditioned van, narrated by one of the friendly, local residents. There is also plenty of time to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, beach volleyball and the increasingly popular SNUBA. All snorkel gear, instruction and guided snorkel-reef tour with a trained naturalist is included. Before your return satisfy your appetite with Trilogy's famous Kiawe grilled BBQ Chicken Dinner prepared and served by your Captain and Crew on dinner plates with silverware at the Hale O Manele Pavillion offering beautiful views overlooking Manele Harbor for Hawaiian style dining at its best. The return sail to Maui can be restful and relaxing, or wet and wild, but it is always safe and lots of fun. Many guests say that sailing into Lahaina at sunset was the highlight of their whole vacation!
