Trilogy Excursions has been taking the visitors of Maui on sailing excursions for over thirty years. They go to such locations as Lanai, Molokini and the western coastline of the West Maui Mountains. Trilogy Excursions is a family business that was started by the Coon brothers and is now operated by their many sons and daughters. They have a reputation for maintaining an exceptional level of customer service on all of their trips. Their crew is friendly and attentive and will be waiting on you throughout the entirety of the trip. The “Discover Lanai” and “Discover Lanai Sunset” trip are the sailing trips that they are known for. The island of Lanai is one of crown jewels of Hawaii. The marine life here is abundant with the island boasting the largest unbroken coral reef in the state. Trilogy Excursions has been going to Lanai for years and they have constructed a pavilion and set up a series of beach chairs and hammocks for their guests to enjoy while they’re on the island. | Description: This trip is what Trilogy is best known for. Depart from Lahaina Harbor at around 10 am (occasionally there is a sunrise departure at 6:30am). Start your day with an island style breakfast of Mom's homemade Cinnamon Rolls, Coffee, Juice and Seasonal Fruit. Deli Snacks are also served on-board during the one and a half hour sail to this very special island. Enjoy the optional guided tour of Lana‘i's historic plantation town, in an air-conditioned van, narrated by one of the friendly, local residents. There is also plenty of time to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, beach volleyball and the increasingly popular SNUBA. All snorkel gear, instruction and guided snorkel-reef tour with a trained naturalist is included. Before your return satisfy your appetite with Trilogy's famous Kiawe grilled BBQ Chicken Dinner prepared and served by your Captain and Crew on dinner plates with silverware at the Hale O Manele Pavillion offering beautiful views overlooking Manele Harbor for Hawaiian style dining at its best. The return sail to Maui can be restful and relaxing, or wet and wild, but it is always safe and lots of fun. Many guests say that sailing into Lahaina at sunset was the highlight of their whole vacation!
Departure Point: Meet Trilogy First Mate at the Republic Parking Lot on Dickenson Street, 15 minutes prior to departure (look for the Trilogy sign). Departs from Lahaina Harbor Main Loading Dock.
Operates: Monday-Friday: 10:00am to 7:00pm.

Swim and snorkel at Molokini"s Marine Preserve (weather permitting).
