Temptation Tours is one of the oldest and most established of the tour companies we offer on Maui. HANA PICNIC - the day begins with Island-Wide pick up between 7:00 and 7:30am. Proceeding to the Central Valley to the Paia Plantation for a delightful continental breakfast. Afterwards your journey to Hana begins. Photo opportunities abound as many stops are made along this spectacular sea-coast drive. Kaumahina State Park, offering splended views of rugged lava sea cliffs, Keanae, a quaint Hawaiian Village with peaceful taro field and Waikani Falls, glistening with fresh mountain rain-water, are just some of the many sights to be enjoyed. After traveling through a tropical rain forest, enjoy a scrumptious beachside picnic lunch, elegantly served on white linen tablecloths and crystalline plates at picturesque Wainapanapa State Park or scenic Hana Bay Beach Park. Lunch includes: hors d'oeuvres, snowflake rolls, fresh fruit, garden salad with papaya seed dressing, rainbow pasta salad with Italian dressisng, 1/2 smoked chicken (per guest), dessert and ice cold soft drinks. After lunch, there's plenty of time to stroll, swim, sunbathe, or just relax and enjoy. Heading back at a "Maui-Style" pace bring bathing suits and towels to enjoy swimming in a crystal clear, rain-water pool under a cascading waterfall. CAVE QUEST -This tour to Hana includes a guided geology cave hike at Maui's own "Wonder of the World" the incredible Ka'eleku Cavern. Created by Pele, the Goddess of Fire, this enormous subterranean lava tube resembles a chocolate-colored Lava Cathedral Cave, frozen in time forever! Walk beneath the dense tropical rain forest through this underground passage. Discover elephant's foot stalactites, mounds of chocolate colored lava drops and souffle like lava swirls formed over 30,000 years ago. View one of the worlds tallest stalagmites, a towering 30 feet - eternally protected by the Ancient Guardian of the Cave, whose face was naturally etched forever, high above on the lava sidewall. The goddess of Fire even dropped in a huge Skylight to help see all her unique lava formations. Photos permitted, so take your camera. HALEAKALA SUNRISE - the day begins with Island Wide Pick Up between 3:00 and 4:00am. To capture all the beauty that is Sunrise at Haleakala, you proceed directly to the Summit of the Volcano. The Sunrise Adventure Land Package allows you to experience the famous Haleakala Crater in air conditioned comfort and style. Start the day "On Top of the World" at majestic Pu'u Ula Ula (Red Hill), the pinnacle of Haleakala at 10,023 feet. An uplifting continental breakfast is served prior to sunrise. "First Light" reveals a 360 degree view encompassing the Big Island of Hawaii, West Maui and Lanai, Molokai and beyond. The "House of the Sun" Visitors Center, offers breathtaking panoramas from the rim of the Crater. Plenty of stops are made for photo opportunities while descending this view filled mountain drive, so guests may discover and learn in deptth about the native Hawaiian people, their culture and land.
Complementing to this invigorating experience, is a Run of the Menu breakfast at the charming Kula Lodge, complete in a "postcard setting" 3,200 feet above the Pacific.
