Their home port is Maalaea Harbor which is situated centrally on the island provides convenient access from all island locations. Description: Be treated to two hours of an educational and exhilarating whale watching experience with commentary by certified whale naturalists. Katie Velasquez is one of Maui's most educated whale naturalists. With over 15 years experience studying humpback whales and certified by NAI (National Association for Interpretation), Katie is an expert eager to share her vast knowledge and understanding of whale behavior. From 1:00pm until boarding, while guests are checking in, Katie displays whale articles for customers to see and touch, including a life size whale tail, baleen and whale tooth, while providing interesting facts about each. Pride of Maui features two decks, lots of seating and unobstructed panoramic viewing great for whale watching and photographing. Lunch and beverages are also available for purchase on board and round-trip transporation from your hotel or condo is available for an additional $20.00 per person. Equipment: The Pride Of Maui is a 65' Maxi Catamaran with twin turbo diesels, sun deck and stereo sound system.
Capacity: Coast guard certified for 149 pax but limited to 110 for comfort.
Inclusions: Certified Whale Naturalist on board.
Menu: Jumbo Hot Dogs served Hot Off the Grill, Chips, Beverage and Cookie for $7.00 - Juice, Soda, Bottled Water, Beer, Wine and Premium Mixed cocktails are also available for purchase.
Exclusions: Transportation for an additional $20, Lunch and Beverages available for purchase.
*Restrictions: 48 Hour Cancellation Policy - Must have a valid Photo ID to be served alcohol.
