Old Lahaina Luau

For over 20 years the Old Lahaina Luau has been has been the most well known and respected luau to be offered in Hawaii. The luau is often sold-out many weeks in advance.
If you’re coming to the islands for a visit this is a “must book early”. Although the seating is excellent from any vantage point if you want to sit closer to the stage, or even sit traditional style with legs folded and near the front, your seat placement is dependent upon the date it was booked so this is an additional reason to book early.

THE TRADITIONAL FEAST AND DANCES OF OLD HAWAII - Old Lahaina Luau takes great pride in presenting an authentic evening of traditional Hawaiian food, music and dance. All guests are greeted with a fresh flower lei, a tropical drink and souvenir program before being escorted to their reserved seats. Accommodates up to 375 Guests. Guests may gather around as the Kalua Pig is unearthed from the "IMU". Location: 1251 Front Street, Lahaina - Maui
ACTIVITY
Old Lahaina Luau's authentic Hawaiian luau is informative as well as entertaining, beginning with the Kahiko (ancient) hula accompanied by chanting and ancient style instruments and continuing on to each era of Hawaiian history. The bountiful buffet includes: Fresh Tossed Garden Salad with Island Style Dressing served tableside with freshly Baked Taro Rolls and Macadamia Nut Butter. Kalua Roast Pork, Grilled Sirloin Steak, Chicken Long Rice, POI, Ahi Poke (marinated raw Ahi Tuna), Island Style Chicken, Lau Lau (Pork wrapped in Luau Leaf steamed to perfection), Maui Style Mahi-Mahi stuffed with Crab and Shrimp topped with a Macadamia Nut Glaze. Big Island Sweet Potato, Stir Fry Vegetables, Local Style Fried Rice, Island Crab Salad, Taro Leaf Salad with Coconut Sauce, Pahole Salad (fern shoots), Lomi Lomi Salmon (Salmon mixed with tomatoes and onions) Fresh Fruits, Banana Bread, Haupia. Desserts and Coffee are served at the table. An open premium bar which will also serve frozen tropical drinks, sodas, and tropical punch will be available throughout the evening. It is probably the most well known luau in the world and as a result is often sold out weeks and sometimes months in advance. It is located on a private spot on the ocean in Lahaina Towne and overlooks the sunset colors as they light up the skies behind the islands of Lanai and Molokai.
