For over 25 years the Old Lahaina Luau has been has been the most well known and respected luau to be offered in Hawaii. The luau is often sold-out many weeks in advance. If you're coming to the islands for a visit this is a "must book early". Although the seating is excellent from any vantage point if you want to sit closer to the stage, or even sit traditional style with legs folded and near the front, your seat placement is dependent upon the date it was booked so this is an additional reason to book early. And will it be worth it? A case could be made, in fact a very good case could be made that the Old Lahaina Luau is not just the very best luau on Maui but in all likelihood the very best luau in all of Hawaii.

Old Lahaina Luau - The Old Lahaina Luau has been a tremendous success story here on the island of Maui. It is probably the most well known luau in the world and as a result is often sold out weeks and sometimes months in advance. It is located on a private spot on the ocean in Lahaina Towne and overlooks the sunset colors as they light up the skies behind the islands of Lanai and Molokai. This is the only luau on Maui to deal specifically with the traditions of old Hawaii and much of the performance involves Hawaiian chanting and traditional Hawaiian hula. Every detail has been taken care of to make certain the décor, the food and the entertainment is as traditional as possible. You’re even given and opportunity, if there is still space available, to sit Hawaiian style on a mat on the low tables right next to the stage. You’ll be wearing a fresh flower lei throughout the performance and this special night will be a highlight to your Maui vacation.
