Ocean Riders offers one of the most innovative and exciting trips available to Lanai. They circumnavigate the whole Island (70 miles) on a heavy duty 18 passenger, 30 foot rigid hull inflatable. Because these boats were designed to be heavy in the water, they provide a smooth ride not available on other vessels. The only regularly scheduled trips they offer are the full day adventures to Lanai where you will see isolated white sand beaches, unspoiled reefs, and rusting shipwrecks, sea caves, burial caves, spinner dolphins and numerous coves that offer splendid snorkeling where marine creatures of all types and sizes can be found. In addition, these boats can also be chartered on a private basis.

Description: Crossing the Au Au channel, begin your circle
island at shipwreck beach. The rusted hulls of the shipwrecks date back to
WW II. Travel down the wind swept coast where miles of isolated white sand
beaches beckon us ashore for exploration. Continuing around to the leeward
side, hang on tight while we skim within a few feet of towering sea cliffs
and lava rock out crops. Numerous coves offer splendid snorkeling where marine
creatures of all types can be found including dolphins, turtles, octopus,
rays, eels and fish. Any one of these spots offers a remote and SECLUDED
settings for lunch. Sea caves, burial caves, spinner dolphin, white sandy
beaches, shipwrecks and some of the most remote and remarkable snorkeling
water make this trip a must for every adventurer.
Operates: Daily 7:00am return between 2:00 to 3:00pm *
Departure Point: Meet at Mala Wharf
Duration: Full Day 7 to 8 Hours.
Equipment: Hard bottom inflatable is 30 feet long and custom
built for Hawaiian waters. Powered by twin 250 hp mercury outboards, the
hull is deep V, 3 ½ in. fiberglass which translates into a significantly
smoother ride. Offers shade and bench seating for over 50% of the boat and
passengers.
Capacity: 18 passengers.
Inclusions: All snorkeling equipment and instructions are
provided, including prescription masks.
Menu: Includes a Tropical
Continental Breakfast. Catered Deli Lunch, with a variety of meats, cheese,
tuna, pasta salad, fruit platter and condiments. Unlimited water and beverages
including juice and soda and chocolates for anytime snacking.
Exclusions: Bring a towel and sunscreen.
*Restrictions: Parties
of 1 to 3 require a 48 Hour Cancellation Policy, 4 or more 72 Hours. Ocean
Riders reserves the right to refuse to take anyone they feel is unfit for
this trip. This
trip is not recommended for children under 5, pregnant women and persons
with bad backs or acute physical problems.
