| Description: YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT AND IN GOOD CONDITION FOR THIS TRIP - Take a scenic air tour from Maui arriving on topside Molokai where your knowledgeable guide will be waiting to take you to the peninsula of Kalaupapa. The shuttle is another 15 minutes, where a short safety briefing will be conducted and what to expect on the trail. The trail is approximately 2.9 miles one way but feels more like a good dowhhill 5 mile hike. The descent is almost 1700 feet and strain is emphasized on the knees and ankles. Once in the settlement, which can take from 1.5hrs to 2.5 hours. There is a time limit and you MUST be in the settlement no later than 10.00am. Stop off at several view spots on the way down to take pictures.
