Mike Severns Scuba Diving is perhaps the most heavily steeped in academia of all the Maui dive companies, Mike Severns Scuba is owned and operated by Pauline Fiene, who has a degree in biology from St. Olaf College. She is the co-author of several diving books including Molokini - Hawaii's Island Marine Sanctuary. She has studied Hawaiian marine life for over 20 years and has personally discovered several new species of marine life never having been observed before. The Mike Severns Scuba Diving approach is to view each dive as a fun, relaxing and intellectually and spiritually fulfilling dive experience. Dive sites are chosen each morning depending on the interest of the specific divers on board and the current ocean conditions.
