Maui Wave Riders is one of Maui’s oldest and most respected surfing companies that is known to specialize in teaching surf lessons to beginners, cowards, and thrill seekers. Owner Tommy Castleton, has over twenty-five years of experience in the surf industry and as a professional surfer has even been featured on the cover of Surfer Magazine. Tommy takes care in selecting and training his staff to uphold the same level of customer service that he has become famous for. His instructors will tailor the instruction to the students’ ability and never take more then six people in the group lessons to ensure plenty of one on one attention. However, if you would like to have a truly one on one experience with your instructor private and semi-private lessons are available. Maui Wave Riders offers surf lessons on both the Kihei and the Lahaina coastlines. This allows them to be conveniently located to both the main resort centers of the island.
