Description: Watch the gorgeous colors of the Sunrise inside Haleakala National Park at 10,023 feet. Enjoy a van tour of the National Park before heading down to the 6,500-foot elevation of Mt. Haleakala to start your bike tour, coasting down 28 miles of breathtaking views, rich green land and 29 incredible switchbacks. Stop for a "no-host" breakfast at Sunrise Country Market and Flower Farm in beautiful Kula. Finish off your ride in the historic seaside town of Paia.*
Operates: Daily: Pick up starts between 2:00 to 3:00am and return around 11:00 or 12:00 noon.

Description: Start things off with a wonderful van tour of Haleakala National Park. Take photos at the 10,023 feet elevation before heading down to the 6,500-foot elevation of Mt. Haleakala; there you will begin biking 28 miles through 29 switchback turns and countless visual wonders. There are stops along the way to view and photograph the incredible scenery and have a delicious "no-host" lunch at Sunrise Country Market and Flower Farm in Kula then continue biking down to the historic seaside town of Paia.*

Maui Mountain Cruisers - Jon and Cheryl Thuro have owned their company Maui Mountain Cruisers since the very inception of the industry. Over the years they have assisted in implementing many of the advances that have occured in Maui's downhill biking. Safety has always been an important issue with Jon and Cheryl, and they have been instrumental along with others in working in conjuction with the Haleakala National Park and the Maui County government to establish a host of regulations and guidelines which are now used in the industry. In a large part, due to their efforts, cruise bike leaders are now required to have speedometers on their bikes and safety procedures have been setup regarding the passing of traffic. In addition, Maui Mountain Cruisers tour staff asked to undergo a 40 hour safety course during their training.
