Makena Coast ChartersMakena Coast Charters is a small but exciting Maui dive company that operates scuba diving tours to Molokini and the Makena Coast. The owners of Makena Coast Charters, Steve and Eve Hogan, are a colorful couple and very people oriented. Steve, the company founder, is also a captain, dive instructor and award winning cinematographer. Eve is an author with two stories in the “Chicken Soup for the Ocean Lover’s Soul”. | MAKENA
COAST DIVERS offers intro and certified dives to Molokini Crater
or along the Makena Coast. Dive sites range from shallow reefs to deep
dramatic walls and two tank night dives. All equipment is included,
however divers with their own gear are encouraged to bring it with
them. "MAKENA
MELE" a 35' Force Marine Dive Boat accomodates 12 DIVERS or
can accommodate 20 passengers to snorkel or for whale watching. Snorkelers are welcome for $120.00 - Private charters to Lanai and Scuba Weddings are also available. ALL TRIPS AND DIVE LOCATIONS ARE WEATHER PERMITTING. Departs from the Kihei Boat Ramp (check in 15 minutes prior) |

Steve Hogan, the owner and operator of Makena Coast Charters, runs a small and fun dive operation out of Maui’s Maalaea Harbor. His dive boat at 35’ is spacious and he can accommodate up to 12 divers on his boat, but does individual dives with a maximum of only 7 divers. Steve is an underwater Digital Cinematographer with over 20 years of diving experience and is well known in the industry for underwater weddings aboard the Makena Kai. |
