Maui has the best luaus you will find in Hawaii!
It's lucky that you're thinking about doing your Hawaiian luau on the island of Maui. Maui is generally considered to be the island that has the very best luaus. In fact some of the luaus we have here are so popular that during the busier months they are often totally booked for weeks in advance. The luaus here are also not as large as you normally find on the other islands. In fact some of the better luaus will only have a maximum of less than two-hundred people. The luaus on Maui are essentially divided into two different categories. Luaus that deal exclusively with the Hawaiian culture, and luaus that deal with Hawaiian but also other cultures of the Polynesian islands. These polynesian shows will often include acts from areas such as Fiji, Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga and New Zealand. Luaus are particularly exciting for children and the colorful pageantry and continuous excitement make the luau the ultimate Hawaiian activity. We recommend spending at least one night of your vacation attending one of Maui's precious Luau feasts.
The Feast At Lele is situated along the beach in historic Lahaina Town. The sunset over the channel will provide a dynamic backdrop to the show. Guests are greeted with a fresh flower lei and a Mai Tai upon check in. A sit down, five course dinner featuring cuisine of Hawaii, New Zealand, Tahiti, Samoa and Dessert as well as a premium open bar are included throughout the evening. Each course is accompanied by the corresponding Polynesian entertainment from each island. The Feast at Lele Luau combines modern interpretations of the traditional song, dance and cuisine of four Pacific Islands into one unforgettable evening.
(From: $120.00 - To: $120.00)
The Grand Luau At Honua'ula - is an excellent luau found on Maui's south coast at the Grand Wailea Resort. This fun filled family and social event is made even extra special because it holds a maximum of only 300 guests. "Honua'ula" is more than just a luau, you'll have to go and experience the magic. It speaks of gods and goddesses, the mischievous menehune, the cultures of the South Pacific and finishes with a spectacular fire dance that spices the evening with a "Hot" Grand Finale. A spectacular evening of traditional chant and hula brings the history of Maui to life.
(From: $94.90 - To: $100.31)
The Hyatt Luau is set on the southern end of Kaanapali Beach on the grounds of the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The evening will start out with Mai Tais and photographs as you come through the line into the luau grounds. From here you will be seated before being called to the Luau buffet to pile your plate high with such foods as Kalua Pig, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Huli Huli Chicken, Poi, Teriyaki Chicken Haupia Coconut Pudding and more. After the buffet has been served the Polynesian show will begin. You'll see dances and chants from such places as Tonga, Samoa, Tahiti, New Zealand and of course Hawaii. There is an open (bottomless) bar throughout the whole event.
(From: $95.00 - To: $117.90)
For over twenty years the Old Lahaina Luau has been has been the most well-known and respected luau to be offered in Hawaii. The luau is often sold-out many weeks in advance. If you're coming to the islands for a visit this is a must book early (before your arrival). Although the seating is excellent from any vantage point if you want to sit closer to the stage, or even sit traditional style with legs folded and near the front, your seat placement is dependent upon the date it was booked so this is an important to book this activity as far ahead of time as possible. We recommend making your reservation for the Old Lahaina Luau at the same time you make your plane and hotel reservations.
(From: $105.00 - To: $105.00)

For years entertainment on Maui in the evenings was limited to luaus or dinner cruises. This is not the case today as Maui has some world class theatrical presentations and shows that rival those of many of the artistic and sophisticated cities on the mainland. In fact, we are always cognizant of reminding visitors to make sure they keep a few evenings free during their vacations to make sure they have room for one or two of these special Maui theatre presentations in addition to their luau.
