Kayaking Tours, Lessons and Rentals in Maui - Kayaking on Maui is personally one of my favorite ocean activities. I like the fact that you get exercise from the rowing. I like that its almost silent, even stealth like as you glide across the ocean surface. I like that its much closer to the ocean than on a boat. When you see something you want to investigate you can stop and jump overboad to observe in a matter of moments. I like that its usually done in small groups of people and is very personalized. I like that the places we have to explore here on kayaks are so unbelievably beautiful. And when we are so blessed, I love to see turtles, dolphins and whales from the vantage point of our kayaks because it feels like we’re not just viewing them from afar but it feels like we are for that moment, a part of their underwater world.
