If you’re looking to do something X-treme on your next Maui vacation, you should look into Kapalua Adventures. Kapalua Adventures offers a state of the art zipline course as well as a ropes course in Kapalua, which is on the Northwest side of Maui. The zipline course is almost two miles long in total. On this course all of the ziplines featuring dual lines that run parallel to each other. This parallel line setup allows you to share the thrill of ziplining with other members of your group by having them zipping on the line right next to you. The course sits high on the West Maui Mountains, throughout Kapalua Adventures you’ll have dramatic views of Honoluau Bay (a popular surfing and snorkeling destination) the channels and surrounding islands of Molokai and Lanai. This course is located above the famous Kapalua Golf Course, which is home to the annual Mercedes Championships. The zipline is not the only attraction at Kapalua Adventures. The ropes course here features such obstacles as: the leap of faith, the giant swing, a climbing wall, various rope bridges and more. Kapalua Adventures also has a suspension bridge that is three hundred and sixty feet long! The guides here are top of the line, they will help you feel safe and secure throughout your entire zipline and/or ropes course experience. | Description: Combining your 20 minute Unimog excursion, arrive at the Mountain Outpost to a 3,000 square foot observation deck 1,400 feet above sea level with sweeping views of Maui County. Following a brief introduction to your equipment, you'll launch into a 4 line course encompassing the lower portions of the Mountain including two of the longer and most exciting ziplines, across a dramatic valley with views of Molokai, the Maui coastline and bamboo forest. Total course length is 4,930 feet for 4 lines.

After learning about the technical aspects of your adventure, you will begin with crossing a valley via the longest and highest suspension bridge in the state and to the edges of Puu Kukui Preserve where your zipping adventure begins high in the trees. This tour includes line #3 which is the longest line on the course at 2,300 feet in length. From this vantage point you will see the giant swing. As you arrive across line #5, walk a short distance to the Giant Swing which will take your breath away.
Two people are hoisted high in the air by members of their group through a system of ropes and pulleys. Once you reach the height of your choosing, tell them to let go of the release cord for a breathtaking swing between two 60-foot tall telephone poles. This is truly a combination worht experiencing.

After a safety introduction and equipment explanation you will enter the threshold to adventure. Test your endurance skills on a 40-foot tall climbing tower. Each wall features colorful hand-and foot-holds for both easy and challenging routes. Two walls can accommodate four climbers simultaneously. First-timers are encouraged to try while seasoned climbers will be shown more challenging routes. Test yourself against the clock or each other for degrees of difficulty. | Description: Offered a few nights in each month, this nighttime experience will have you howlin' by the light of the full moon! Venture across the longest and highest suspension bridge in Hawai'i, then soar over the West Maui forest on our 2,000-foot long zipline. | Description: Combining a 20 minute ride to the Mountain Outpost, a brief safety introduction and equipment fitting / explanation, you'll launch into the full mountain course via the longest and highest suspension bridge in the state. The course encompasses 7 ziplines! The cross and downhill lines run nearly 2 miles and drop almost 900 feet in elevation. Each downhill span runs with parrallel lines allowing guests to ride side by side, like no other. The lines are separated by short treks through this lush landscape of West Maui, where your guides can reveal native and endemic species of flora. At mid point of your adventure you'll stop for a gourmet lunch and "talk story" then continue your excursion along the remaining lines past a waterfall and over a bamboo forest.
