Ironwood Ranch is located in the hills above Napili and the terrain that they have here is varied. You will ride through abandoned pineapple fields, lush tropical valleys and even an Ironwood forest that the ranch is named after. The ranch is located fairly high up on the hill and their elevated position allows for some panoramic views of the channel and surrounding islands of Molokai and Lanai. Their horses are gentle and know the trail well and their ranch hands and trail guides you will find to be not only very knowledgeable but also very kind and courteous. West Maui Journey 1.5-Hour Ride - Ironwood Ranch Vendor: Ironwood Ranch Product: West Maui Journey 1.5-Hour Ride Description: Journey into the West Maui Mountains on horseback for an hour and a half. On this easy going ride, you will visit a region named 'Maile Pai' which means, 'fast growing vine'. Meander over rolling hills, and through lush tropical valleys. This ride is recommended for all riding levels.* Operates: Daily: 9:00am, 11:00am or 1:00pm Departure Point: Located off Hwy 30 in Napili on the mountainside across from the Napili Plaza. Duration: 1.5 hours of riding, 3 hours total. Equipment: Horses and Tack Capacity: Up to 7 guests per guide.
