Haleakala
On Horseback
If you’re planning to visit Haleakala Crater, you’ve two choices: trek in or go in on horseback. The descent to the crater floor from the lip of the crater rim is about 2500’ and of course the ascent is the same, so it can be challenging. Going into the crater on horseback is exciting and it’s a very special way to view this natural wonder. |
