After receiving your shell lei greeting, you are offered the opportunity to have your picture taken, which will be available for purchase. Open Bar features blended tropical drinks, such as Chi Chi, Mai Tai and Pina Coladas. As the village comes to life with Hawaiian games, lei making, crafts and tattoo's you will witness Hawaii of yesterday. Audience participation is encouraged. Lovely Hula Dancers entertain with traditional dances.
6:00pmLighting the torches and the sound of the conch shell invites you to experience the opening of the Imu. Your fresh pork will be carried off and served with your traditional hawaiian full buffet style dinner offering a variety of Hawaiian favorites.
7:00pmThe Story begins…Voyagers of the Pacific journeyed across the open seas in search of new lands to call home. Learn about the sailing maps, which lead them here. Hear the legend of Pele, the goddess of the volcano and how she paved the way with her lava. Meet the goddess, Lilinoe who resides high above the majestic peak of Haleakala, as well as the gods and goddesses of the ocean. You will behold the beautiful story of the goddess Na'ulu as she glides through the heavens. Meet the menehune, magical people who appear from the shadows. By firelight they get into a little mischief. These stories combined create an exciting evening of traditional chant and hula bringing the history of Maui to life. The evening comes to an end with a HOT performance by the Three Time World Champion Fire Knife Dancer, Ifi So'o.
