Expeditions - 4x4 Adventure
Are you thinking about visiting the island of Lanai? We have a variety of excursions available with Expeditions ferry service. For the golfer, snorkeler, four-wheel drive enthusiast or even for someone who just wants to sit on the beach and relax we have packages available. Expeditions departs from Lahaina Harbor, Maui with service to Manele Harbor, Lanai many times daily. The island of Lanai is home to two five star resorts, two world class eighteen hole golf courses, miles and miles of pristine white sand beaches, shipwrecks and four-wheel drive trails. Lanai is truly a tropical paradise and it is no wonder why such people as Microsoft founder Bill Gates choose to get married here. Before Lanai was known for its luxurious resorts it was known for its industry. Lanai was once home to a Dole pineapple plantation that was at its time the largest pineapple plantation on the planet. The entire top side of the island forms a mellow crater that was filled with fields. This modern day appeal coupled with the rich history and rustic culture make Lanai something that I think everyone should experience at some point in their life.
