Ekahi Tours is a small, family owned Maui sightseeing tour company that has been operating on Maui for many years. They pride themselves on being local style, unhurried, friendly and personal. They have a variety of different excursions that can take you all over the island. Some of the more popular of these are the Haleakala Crater trip and the Hana tour. The Haleakala volcanoes summit is ten thousand and twenty three feet above sea level. When you reach the summit you will find out that you are actually standing on the rim of a massive crater that is over one thousand feet deep and over ten miles across. On the bottom of the crater there are many smaller cinder cones inside that are easily viewable on a clear day. The Hana tour will go around the perimeter of the island on a twisty road that for many sections is only one lane. The Hana tour goes through the rainforest side of the island which gets on average over one hundred inches of rain annually.
