Easy Riders is Maui's newest Guided Downhill Bike Tour Company. They offer two day tours daily, at 8:00 AM and Noon in small groups of just 8 riders and the longest guided downhill bike tour (25 miles). Owner-operated, safety oriented, knowledgeable and experienced guides. Spend your day seeing the parts of Maui that most never will. Meeting them in Paia gives you the opportunity to choose from all of the great restaurants Maui's North Shore has to offer and they will be happy to direct you to the one that suits you best. | Description: Your adventure will start and end in Paia, Maui's coolest little beach town. There are restrooms where you park your car as well as every other modern convenience Maui has to offer. i.e. gas stations, restaurants, shops, beach showers etc...We will take a gander at the ocean and then get headed up the mountain. From Paia we will drive directly up the same route we will be coming down on the bicycles. This will give us the opportunity to show you the roadways and point out potential hazards. Once arriving in the upcountry area of Kula we will be stopping at a small market so you will have the opportunity to use the bathroom, eat, take pictures, buy souvenirs, smell the flowers, etc... After we spend a short time at our pit stop we will continue another few minutes in the van to the starting point. Altogether you will only spend less than one hour of your vacation in our van. We will begin our bike ride outside Haleakala National Park at 6600 feet above Sea Level. We start just above where the other bike tours get started. We ride the most miles in the business. Altogether we only do about 200 yards of uphill pedaling on our entire bike route. It is a relaxing and enjoyable 25 mile bike ride. In Makawao, about 3/4 of the way into the ride, we will be taking a short break, 30 minute stop, so you will have a chance to see the town. Makawao is Maui's Cowboy Town, a close 2nd to Paia when it comes to being the coolest little town on Maui. From Makawao we ride all the way down Baldwin Avenue into the town of Paia ending your ultimate downhill bike ride exactly where you parked your car...at the beach!
