Dunes at Maui Lani
This is the newest addition to Maui's great list of golf courses. Located in central Maui near Kahului it is exquisitely carved out of the sand dunes that centuries ago were the predominant feature of our central valley. This course can be difficult (especially because of the crosswinds that are generally very strong in the afternoon) and is characterized by an Irish links land design. The course is secluded in a Hawaiian kiawe forest and has many changes in elevation, rolling fairways, revetment bunkers, demanding greens and the changing wind directions are frequently a challenge.
