Blue Hawaiian Helicopters has been a trend setter in the industry
ever since their very inception. Dave and Patti Chavalier are
true visionaries. They have been at least partially responsible
for many of the positive innovations that have occurred in the industry
over their tenure which has seen them grow from a company of one helicopter
to a fleet of dozens extending over three islands. Their awards
have included the Five-Star Diamond Award for Outstanding quality and
service from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences which they
have won every year since 1995. The Certificate of Excellence “Diamond
Award” issued by the Federal Aviation Administration which they
have one every year since 1998. They were the first Hawaiian
tour company to be certified by the Helicopter Association International
Platinum Program of Saftey and they were the first company in the United
States to be certified under the Tour Operators Program of Safety. They
were also the first, and still one of the few companies to offer their
clients, what is generally considered in the industry, the top of the
line helicopter available to visitors in Hawaii, the Eco Star. |
