Bike it Maui may be the smallest downhill company to roll down Maui's Mt. Haleakala but it is big on performance. The company's owners, Ralph and Petra, go out of their way to make their trip enjoyable. Quality bikes and gear are their mainstay and their choice of restaurants for lunch at Charley's in Paia is excellent (the cost of the lunch is already included in your ticket price). They also post digital photos of their daily rides down the mountain on their website so friends and family can see how much fun your having on vacation.

Description: Take a trip to the top of Haleakala (10,023 foot elevation) and enjoy a phenomenal sunrise. Take in the views from the top of Haleakala, then gear up and embark on a leisurely downhill bike ride. Your journey begins with a coast down 28 miles from the 6,500-foot elevation to sea level into the original territorial capital of Hawaii, Paia.*
Operates: Daily, pick up starts around 2:00am return to condo around Noon time.
Departure Point: Pick up and return from most hotels, condos or cruise ship. Pick up starts from 2:00 to 4:00am, depending on time of year.
Duration: Approximately 8 hours.
Equipment: State of the Art Bicycles, Full Face Helmets, Gloves, Helley Hansen all weather Jackets & Pants.
Capacity: Minimum of 6 to go and a Maximum of 13 per van.
Inclusions: A group photo of your tour will be taken just below the summit and posted on Bike it Maui's website for you, family and friends to download.
