Aloha Bicycle Tours

Aloha Bike Tours may be a great choice if you’re not interested in just coasting down the mountain but would like to get in some “pedal time.” Instead of just heading down the mountain, Aloha Bike Tours traverses it sideways, traveling from the lower regions of the Haleakala Park through the beautiful Maui countryside, ending up at the Tedeschi Winery in Ulupalakua. Aloha Bike Tours has support vehicles close behind on your journey but you are allowed to proceed on your bike tour at your own pace.

HALEAKALA TO TEDESCHI WINERY BIKE TOUR - This 33 mile bike tour begins at Rice Park in Kula, with a continental breakfast before boarding the van and heading to the entrance of the National Park. Upon arrival at the Park entrance each rider will be custom fitted with equipment and given a safety briefing before the bike tour. Throughout the entire tour there will be several stops and you may ride at your own pace and stop as often as you desire. The Tour Van will be nearby at all times. The final destination is Tedeschi Winery, where you'll enjoy a deli-style lunch and visit the Tasting Room for a sample of their wine. (There are optional routes ( 40+ miles), for riders who would like to bike some extra miles. Meet at Rice Park in Kula (off Highway 37) Equipment: 24 Speed Trek Navigator 500 Comfort Bikes - 12 Riders RESTRICTIONS: Competent riders only. No beginners, pregnant women, blind persons, persons with heart conditions. Riders must be 4'10" and the minimum age is 14 years. Dress in layers and wear close toed shoes with rubber soles. DAILY: 7:00am (7:15am Fall/Winter)
