Action Sports Maui Offers the most complete range of lessons in Windsurfing, Surfing and Kitesurfing. The instructors are well trained professionals that are dedicated to their sport, including some of the most highly trained instructors and instructor trainers anywhere. Three individual schools running simultaneously are able to respond to all your demands. ASM caters to the extreme athlete as well as the novice, bringing these watersports within the reach of the average visitor to the island.
Kiteboarding combines the speed of sailing with the thrills of surfing and wakeboarding. Maui is the forefront of this exciting new sport. Be a part of the next generation. Booties, jackets, harness and kites will be provided. All lessons are private. NOTE: Students must be able to swim.

Kiteboarding - Intro Private - Action Sports Maui

Description: Kiteboading (kitesurfing) The first day of
lessons is a fun and easy way to try out kiteboarding. No experience is required.
This is a private lesson. Start with the trainer kite on land, learning the
basics. Then you are into the water within 30 minutes learning to water launch
the kite and steer. Then you are shown how to get up on the board using the
kite's power. This lesson is packed with all the technical info you need.
Learn kite control using a range of kites, board riding skills, full flight.*

Description: Kiteboading (kitesurfing) Families and couples that want to play together can take this group lesson. This option is good if you have a little more time and want to learn at a relaxed pace. Students share the experience, learn the same skills at a slightly slower pace, taking turns and assisting each other. This class also shows students how to work together as a team. Each student learns both ends of the kite and learns the launching and landing skills necessary to being a good kite buddy. It is not recommended to exceeed 2 or 3 peodple per class.*

Description: Three days of private kiteboarding instruction,
for any level of kiteboarder. No experience required. This course can be
used as a comprehensive beginner's course, intermediate or advanced riders.
Three hours of private instruction per day for three days. Three days is
recommended as a basic kiteboarding course for confident water people. A
kiteboarder certification card is given to each student logging their level
of training.*
