He’s been a SCUBA instructor since 1988 and has run his SNUBA business since 1991 and has enjoyed introducing people from all over the world to this unique underwater experience. Snuba Tours of Kauai is a great activity for all members of the family over eight years of age. Snuba diving is actually a bridge between snorkeling and SCUBA diving. It's like snorkeling in that you do not have tanks on your back but it is like diving because it allows you to stay underwater and breathe. It's easier than you may think and in fact it is even available to you if you have never, ever snorkeled or even can’t swim. It's very simple to learn and once you do you’ll be off on a tour of exploration of Kauai’s underwater world.…

Snuba - Snuba Tours of Kauai Vendor: Snuba Tours of Kauai Product: SNUBA Description: This is an hour and a half, (30-40 minutes underwater) on the sunny south shore of Kauai, in the Poipu Area. You begin and end your dive from the sandy shores of Lawai Beach, which is one mile down Lawai Road. An outer reef protects the bay where a variety of colorful fish and diverse marine life make their home, many of which are only found in Hawaiian waters. Every tour is guided by a diving professional that will show you how to use the equipment and remain with you during the dive.* Operates: Monday to Friday at 9:00am, 10:30am, Noon and 1:30pm Departure Point: You meet at the white Snuba van in front of the Lawai Beach Resort, across from the Beach House Restaurant. Shower and bathroom facilities are available on location. Duration: 1.5 hours (approximately) Equipment: SNUBA Gear Capacity: Small Groups of up to 8 people. Inclusions: Use of all equipment booties, fins, masks (prescription lenses are available) are included.
