Silver Falls Ranch is located on 400 acres nestled into the interior high valleys of Kalihiwai Ridge on Kauai's beautiful North Shore. The riding trails here are among the most lush and beautiful on the island and well suited for horseback activity for all levels of riding experience and trail guides will assist all guests based on their past exposure to horses. The horses here are among the most beautiful to be found on the island and are considered the pride and joy of the ranch. Every effort is made to provide the best life possible for these animals and as a result they reward their riders with a great equestrian experience.

Description: All rides begin with a riding orientation and safety briefing, then your small group, riding at a comfortable walking pace will explore and venture into the isolated interior of Kalihiwai and Kamookoa ridge for breathtaking close-up views of the Makaleha mountain range. Tours pass through an eighty-acre tropical garden where over 150 different species of palm trees thrive. Wind your way along the peaceful Pohakuhonu stream lined with ferns and hibiscus blossoms, or the rushing Pookaele stream that feeds our featured waterfall pool. This is a leisurely trail ride along winding streams thru lush foliage and wild guava.*

As promised here is my assessment of the Kapalua Kai sunset sail cruise. It was wonderful. Although we had a misty rainy afternoon at times, the intent of the cruise was met. They tacked back and forth until the sun went down and stopped when we saw whales and dolphins. Additionally, the crew of the Kapalua Kai was very responsive to needs of their passengers, plus made us all feel safe and well taken care of. In the times when there was no mist and rain, they were asking patrons if they needed their picture taken, they distributed drinks as ordered by the patrons, and they were all quite personable.
Good cruise - plus we had an unbelievable view from the ocean of a detailed rainbow shown against the background of the West Maui Mountains and the hotels along Kaanapali beach.
It was a sad day yesterday knowing that we would wake up to another environment, but,
Again, thank you for your professionalism in helping all of us with our activity needs. If you were not there, Steve, when we wanted to make a booking, all of the other sales people at Tom Barefoot's were just as cordial and courteous as you. And as in the past, now 7 years, we will continue to use you when we come out there. July 2004 looks like the next time we will be there. Hopefully, after one our vacations, we will just stay and not come back to the mainland. That would be nice.
