The Princeville Ranch Adventures offers one of the premier zip-line adventures on the island of Kauai. First off, the setting for this zipline is in an area known as the region of Hanalei and the views from every section of the zipline course are beautiful beyond words. Ocean views are seen from every vantage point and the green and verdant rolling pastureland with intersecting valleys and streams backs up to the breathtaking Hanalei Mountains. The zipline course itself at the Princeville Ranch Adventures is a series of nine separate picturesque ziplines and a suspension bridge which spans over a waterfall. Each line has its own personality but the last line, called the King Kong line, has the largest personality of them all. From a twenty-six foot platform two separate side-by-side zip lines (designed for two people to launch at the same time as they race each other across the course) descend at blistering speeds twelve-hundred feet across the valley. A hidden swimming hole and waterfall are also a part of your day's zipline outing where you'll enjoy swimming, jumping, diving and floating on inner-tubes. …

Jungle Valley Adventure - Princeville Ranch Adventures Vendor: Princeville Ranch Adventures Product: Jungle Valley Adventure Description: Kayak, Hike and Zip, a truly unique jungle experience on the pristine private lands of Princeville Ranch! Enjoy beautiful Hanalei Mountain views as you approach the secluded Kalihiwai Stream. Kayak through a serene rainforest valley steeped in tropical sounds, scents and sights. Tie up and hike deeper into the ranch, negotiate several stream crossings and arrive at the spectacular Uluhe Fern Ridge. Here guests 12 years and up and 65 to 280 pounds have the option to ride TWO magnificent, 400+ foot zip lines and connecting bridge over a pristine twin waterfall and swimming hole. Those not zipping can watch or walk down to this idyllic spot. After zipping, you can jump, swim, float on inner tubes, enjoy a delicious freshly prepared meal and relax. Kayaking is beginner-level and total kayaking time is approximately one hour, round trip. Hiking is moderately strenuous, includes multiple stream crossings and is approximately 2 hours, round trip. Total tour time is about 4.5 hours. King Kong is the final line in your zip course and is an adventure all on its own! First, walk up a ramp to the 26-foot high tower. Next zip 1,200 feet, racing each other side-by-side or maybe holding hands! This tour is all about zipping. Hiking distance is less than one mile and rated moderate. * Operates: Monday-Saturday check in 10:00am and 11:30am and 2:15pm Departure Point: Check in half hour prior tour at Princeville Ranch Hiking Adventures Office one mile past the Princeville Airport on the ocean side of Kuhio Hwy 56 (just past the 27 mile marker) follow the signs.
