Princeville Ranch Adventures offers adventures in Zip-lining, Kayaking and Hiking on Kauai's spectacular North Shore in the region of Hanalei. The company was founded by David and Denise Carswell. David was born and raised on the island and his family dates back generations to the early 1800's to one of the original missionaries to come to Kauai, Abner Wilcox. David, having grown up on the island had first hand knowledge of all the fun Kauai had to offer and through his experience he was able to put together some absolutely spectacular adventures to tantalize the island visitors that he now serves. The Zip-line tours are perhaps the cornerstone of his operation and offer an undeniably exciting way to experience the beauty of Kauai's North Shore. Zipping through these lush green valleys with views of the ocean on the one side and the Hanalei Mountains on the other leaves you with a feeling of euphoria that makes you want to pinch yourself to make sure you're not dreaming. Hiking these areas and kayaking along its streams rounds out the complete adventure package and its sister company, Princeville Ranch Stables, provides a horseback riding experience as well.

Tour - An exciting adventure experience on the pristine private lands
of Princeville Ranch! The course is a combination of 9 picturesque
ziplines and a suspension bridge spanning a waterfall. Imagine walking
off the edge of a lush valley, flying over tree tops across to the
other side, soaking in the gorgeous mountain views along the way. King
Kong is the final line in your zip course and is an adventure all on
its own! First, walk up a ramp to the 26-foot high tower. Next zip
1,200 feet, racing each other side-by-side or maybe holding hands!
The tour includes an hour at a 35 foot deep, hidden swimming hole,
fed by a small waterfall. Here you'll enjoy lunch, swimming, jumping,
diving and floating on inner tubes. Hiking distance is less than one
mile.*
Operates: Monday-Saturday check in 7:00am departs 7:30am return 12:00pm (SEASONAL)

Departure Point: Check in half hour prior tour at Princeville Ranch Hiking Adventures Office one mile past the Princeville Airport on the ocean side of Kuhio Hwy 56 (just past the 27 mile marker) follow the signs.
Duration: 4.5 hours
Equipment: 9 Zip Lines and all necessary equipment.
Capacity: Minimum of 4 to operate maximum of 12 guests
Inclusions: Experienced guides, lunch, and backpack
use, full 9-zip line course. Guides are CPR and First Aid Certified,
well educated on Hawaii's history, flora and fauna. Guides also carry
cellular phones and first aid kits.
Menu: Choice of Grilled Chicken Breast or Veggie (bean puree) Wrap with Shredded Carrots, Red Bell Pepper, Bean Sprouts, Romaine Lettuce, Maui Chips and Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Exclusions: Wear Shorts (mid thigh or longer) with swimsuit underneath, towel, supportive shoes (hiking or tennies), and a change of dry clothes for after the tour. What To Bring: lots of bottled water, sunscreen, hat, hair ties, mosquito repellent and a rain poncho.
*Restrictions: 48 Hour Cancellation Policy – 72 Hours for Groups of 6 or more. Change Policy incurs a 10% Fee. Guest not meeting all the restrictions at check in will not be permitted on the tour and no refund will be given. Here guests 12 years and up and 65 to 280 pounds have the option to ride TWO magnificent, 400+ foot zip lines and connecting bridge over a pristine twin waterfall and swimming hole. Those not zipping can watch or walk down to this idyllic spot. After zipping, you can jump, swim, float on inner tubes, enjoy a delicious freshly prepared meal and relax. Kayaking is beginner-level and total kayaking time is approximately one hour, round trip. Hiking is moderately strenuous, includes multiple stream crossings and is approximately 2 hours, round trip.
