Princeville Ranch Adventures offers a number of varying tours and one of them deals with kayaking on the ranch. Kayaking with the Princeville Ranch Adventures can be found on their Jungle Valley Adventure. This region of the island known as Princeville is steeped in the history of Kauai. The ranch itself was established there in the early eighteen hundreds and this ranchland is some of the most beautiful you will ever find. Sweeping ocean views are everywhere and the ranch backs up to the beautiful Hanalei mountains which are ever-present in the distance. Verdant green and lush would describe the views you see to a tee. The first part of the Jungle Valley Adventure is the portion that deals with kayaking. Here you launch your kayak into the Kalihiwai Stream. Launching itself can be an adventure as your guide gives you a push from a launching platform that has you almost, but not quite, capsizing in the shallow waters. Your kayak tour continues what seems to be a couple miles upstream as you work your way through the jungle stream. From here your tour continues to include some zip lining, hiking, swimming and enjoying a float on some inner tubes.…

Enjoy beautiful Hanalei Mountain views as you approach the secluded Kalihiwai Stream. Kayak through a serene rainforest valley steeped in tropical sounds, scents and sights. Tie up and hike deeper into the ranch, negotiate several stream crossings and arrive at the spectacular Uluhe Fern Ridge. Here guests 12 years and up and 65 to 280 pounds have the option to ride TWO magnificent, 400+ foot zip lines and connecting bridge over a pristine twin waterfall and swimming hole. Those not zipping can watch or walk down to this idyllic spot. After zipping, you can jump, swim, float on inner tubes, enjoy a delicious freshly prepared meal and relax. Kayaking is beginner-level and total kayaking time is approximately one hour, round trip. Hiking is moderately strenuous, includes multiple stream crossings and is approximately 2 hours, round trip. Departure Point: Check in half hour prior tour at Princeville Ranch Hiking Adventures Office one mile past the Princeville Airport on the ocean side of Kuhio Hwy 56 (just past the 27 mile marker) follow the signs.
