Princeville Ranch Adventures Princeville Ranch Adventures offers adventures in Kayaking, Hiking and Zip-Lining on Kauai's spectacular North Shore in the region of Hanalei. The company was founded by David and Denise Carswell. David was born and raised on the island and his family dates back generations to the early 1800's to one of the original missionaries to come to Kauai, Abner Wilcox. David, having grown up on the island had first hand knowledge of all the fun Kauai had to offer and through his experience he was able to put together some absolutely spectacular adventures to tantalize the island visitors that he now serves. The Zip-line tours are perhaps the cornerstone of his operation and offer an undeniably exciting way to experience the beauty of Kauai's North Shore. Hiking these areas and kayaking along its streams rounds out the complete adventure package and its sister company, Princeville Ranch Stables, provides a horseback riding experience as well. |

PRINCEVILLE RANCH ADVENTURES offers hiking, kayak and zipping tours on its beautiful land. RECOMMENDED ATTIRE:
Light comfortable clothing: Shorts, (long shorts or pants required
for zipline tour) hats, sunscreen, secure close toed shoes (hiking
or tennis shoes). Wear bathing suit under clothes and bring a small
towel if you wish to swim. ZIPPING REQUIREMENTS: AGES
12 and up. Must Weigh between 80 to 280 pounds. 16 and 17
year olds can go on tours without an adult BUT a parent or legal guardian
must physically check them in at the office and sign a liability waiver. Princeville Ranch office is located just past the 27 mile marker on Kuhio Hwy 56, in Princeville. Check in is 30 minutes prior to tour. |

| KALIHIWAI
FALLS HIKE - a spectacular hiking experience on the pristine, private
Princeville Ranch! Ascend "Green Hill" and witness breathtaking
mountain and ocean views. Hike the lowland rainforest, Kalihiwai Valley,
to the spectacular five-tiered Kalihiwai Falls and have it all to yourselves!
Continue up-valley along the stream to a second, idyllic waterfall
swimming hole surrounded by fern-lined walls for a delicious lunch
and jumping or floating on inner tubes. Hiking time is 3
hours and hiking distance is approximately 4 miles. Rated moderately
strenuous. Must be in good physical condition. Includes rough hewn
stairs, many stream crossings and a 10 foot rock wall descent. 2 to
8 guest per tour. MONDAY-SATURDAY: 8:30am |

VALLEY ADVENTURE - KAYAK, HIKE and ZIP ADVENTURE- a truly unique
jungle experience on the pristine private lands of Princeville Ranch!
Enjoy beautiful Hanalei Mountain views as you approach the secluded
Kalihiwai Stream. Kayak through a serene rainforest valley steeped
in tropical sounds, scents and sights. Tie up and hike deeper into
the ranch, negotiate several stream crossings and arrive at the spectacular
Uluhe Fern Ridge. Here guests 65 to 280 pounds have the option to ride TWO magnificent,
400+ foot zip lines and connecting bridge over a pristine twin
waterfall and swimming hole. Those not zipping can watch or walk down
to this idyllic spot. After zipping, you can jump, swim, float on inner
tubes, enjoy a delicious freshly prepared meal and relax. Kayaking
is beginner-level and total kayaking time is approximately one
hour, round trip. Hiking is moderately strenuous. Must
be in good physical condition. Includes multiple stream crossings
and is approximately 2 hours, round trip. Total tour time is
about 4.5 hours. DAILY: 8:00am to 12:30pm or 1:00pm to 5:30pm |
