Outfitters Kauai is fond of providing you with multiple activities during the same tour experience and hiking is an activity they combine with zip lining, kayaking, a motorized farm-wagon, swimming and rope swinging. Dreaming up magical tours is not a creative faculty that has gone dormant in the minds of the Outfitters Kauai staff. This day you will experience with them is certainly one that you will remember for some time to come. You will begin with a two mile paddle up the Huleia River on the Kipu Ranch which is so beautiful that it has been the filming location for some of Hollywood's famous blockbuster movies. Next you'll find yourself hiking along the river to a spot with an overhanging rope swing which will allow you to swing out over the river for an exciting jump. Another hike will lead you up some meadows and through the forest to an awaiting motorized farm wagon which will take you to your zipline launch location. A further hike up a ridge and you are at the site of one of the most beautiful forest pools and waterfalls you could ever imagine. This time an even larger rope swing will await you and after your plunge you will be hiking again back to the river, this time to board a motorized canoe back down river to your original starting point. …
| Description: This is a full day adventure to paddle, hike, swing, zip and ride. Take a fun downwind kayak trip on the Huleia River, a beautiful and historic jungle stream. After an easy 2-mile paddle, you"ll tie your kayak to a tree and take a short walk to a gorgeous area of waterfalls and swimming holes. Next, you jump onto a one-of-a-kind farm wagon for a fabulous trip across Kipu Ranch, made famous in films like Jurassic Park and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Next stop - the brand new Keko Kai zipline course. Enjoy a hearty picnic lunch. Marvel at the beauty as you traverse the lush rain forest on swinging bridges that float and sway in the tree tops above the wilderness floor. Ride the first of two brand new ziplines that lands you a short hike from the opening of a recently discovered tunnel through the jungle. Hike a treetops walkway past giant tree ferns and you"ll be face to face with the ride of a lifetime, the new, impossibly long, tandem, center dismount zipline. Pair up with a friend and soar over a quarter of a mile above wild forest canopy for more than 90 seconds of thrilling flight. And if that wasn"t enough, have a go at the brand new Blue Pool and the unique Waterzip Zipline! This mountain stream-fed swimming pool is the perfect place to cool off from the day"s adventure with cliff jumps and the super safe and super fun Waterzip Zipline. Step out of the van and into your harness for your first and second ride on the Luna, or top zipline – a full velocity cruise above the lush jungle terrain.
