Na Pali Explorer
Without question one of the most beautiful of all coastlines in Hawaii is the Napali Coastline, and one of the most exciting boat companies who take you there is the Napali Explorer. These boats are exciting because they are fast, maneuverable and are able to get you "up close and personal" to the sea cliffs, numerous sea caves and land bridges found on the Napali coast. Napali Explorer uses rigid hull inflatable boats in their fleet which are an improvement on their predecessor rubber zodiac rafts such as the ones that were made famous by Jacques Cousteau. This new rigid hull design has been found to be more seaworthy in the ocean environments such as found off the coast of Kauai as they allow higher speeds and a more stable ride in potentially rougher conditions. The boats that they have in their fleet are twenty-six and forty-eight feel long and respectively accommodate eighteen and thirty-six passengers. One advantage Napali Explorer has over many of its competitors is that it leaves from Kikiaola harbor just north of Port Allen which gives it a closer ride to the Napali Coastline and during the summer months it even offers a tour in the afternoon that has its pick-up point in Hanalei.…
