Lucky Lady
Kauai Sea Tour sixty-foot sailing catamaran, Lucky Lady, offers a number of tours off the coast of Kauai and all of them are frequently visited by the pods of dolphins constantly cruising the Kauai coastline. The notion of providing a separate and distinct dolphin watch tour is not really necessary since the dolphins seem to be a part of most tours offered anyway. The dolphins seen by Kauai Sea Tours are primarily the large and very fast Bottlenose Dolphins and the somewhat smaller Spinner Dolphins. The Spinner Dolphins are the most populous variety and are certainly the most amusing. Their playful antics in the water are well documented. They spin and jump and race one another and race the Lucky Lady as they ride the wake of her bow. These pods of Spinners consist of varying numbers of dolphins but can often be found in groups of well over one-hundred. The dolphins are often very active in the evening times when they tend to feed and early morning will often find them somewhat still in the water in their partial sleep mode. By the time Kauai Sea Tours plies the coastline on its way to its snorkel spot the dolphins are generally well awake and ready for some fun.…
