| Description: Your adventure departs from Port Allen Airport, and will fly straight into the heart of Waimea Canyon where we'll explore some of the smaller ventricles or canyons such as Olokele, Waialae, Po'omau, and /or Koaie. Our flight will then take us above Waimea Canyon, over the lush tropical rain forest area of Kokee State Park, and then out along to the beautiful Na Pali Coastline. We'll explore some of the valleys along the Na Pali...such as Nualolo, Honopu, and Kalalau. You'll experience dramatic coastline views, exquisite cliff formations, and wonderful secluded beaches. We'll bring you into view of one of the most famous movie peaks - Mt. Makana or "Bali Hai" made famous in Rogers and Hammersteins "South Pacific". We'll bring you along the north shore areas of Ha'ena where you'll also see Ke'e Beach, the beach and valleys of Wainiha and Lumaha'i , Hanalei, and our privileged community of Princeville. We then fly up into Hanalei Valley - where once at the backside of this valley our helicopter will bring you over a few ridges and finally into the lush, dormant crater of Mt. Wai'ale'ale - one of the wettest places in the world - more than 5000 feet above sea level - it's summit averages more than 400 inches of rain every year. From this amazing crater, we will then lead you southward and venture over Kahili Mountain and into Hanepepe Valley. Our tour and grand finale will take you into a valley with some of the most incredible waterfalls. One of the most famous waterfalls made famous in "Jurassic Park" the movie so nicknamed the Jurassic Park waterfall - it's given Hawaiian name is Manaiwai'opuna. The last views of our wonderful journey brings us over the largest coffee plantation in Hawaii and largest grower of coffee in the U.S. at more than 3,000 acres - the Kauai Coffee Plantation...and then back to land at our Port Allen Airport Base.

The tour will follow the route of the Deluxe Island Tour, however will venture off the beaten path to include views of waterfalls rarely seen. A few locations we often visit are : Olokele Canyon, Kauai Canyon and the outer south wall of the Wai'ale'ale Crater.
