HAWAIIAN SURFING ADVENTURES is owned by Lynn and Mitchell Alapa. Mitchell is born and raised of Hawaiian ancestry, he has been surfing his whole life. Born on Oahu's North Shore, he has lived on Kauai since he was 2 years old. Growing up in the small town of Anahola, he had access to some of the best surfing Hawaii has to offer. He is a very fun person to be around and his knowledge of Hawaii and the ocean will put even the most timid at ease and he is great with kids.

SURF LESSON - each session is 2 hours long - 30 minutes will be class time, to watch the ocean and the waves together and talk about ocean safety, teach you paddle and positioning yourself on the board and teaching you to start reading the waves. The remainder of the time you get in the ocen and you learn to stand up, learning some basic rules when surfing and answering any questions/ then practice surfing for an hour on your own. If boards are not needed for next lessons you can keep your board longer for a $10.00 fee.
GROUP LESSON is for no more than 4 students per instructor.
SEMI-PRIVATE LESSON is for 2 to 3 students per instructor for $75.00
PRIVATE LESSON offers a 1 on 1 with your instructor for $95.00.

DAILY: 8:00am to 2:00pm

STAND UP PADDLE LESSONS - lessons start in the Hanalei River - 12 foot hard sided soft top board and paddle, rash guard and instructor all provided. Your lesson is approximately 1 hour long and you can use the equipment for another 2 hours complimentary. Lessons are offered in GROUPS of 4 to 5 people, SEMI PRIVATE for 2 to 3 person for $55.00 and PRIVATE for a one on one lessons for $65.00.
DAILY: 8:00am to 2:00pm

SURF ISLAND SAFARI - enjoy 3 to 5 hours of surfing the best spots at the time on the island of Kauai. There are incredible breaks off of beautiful beaches and with your own private guide you will learn the secrets of the different areas. This is a great way to check out different surf spots, check out the conditions and not get into any unwelcome situations and have a fun time. Includes ice water and fresh island fruits.
Whether you are a long or short boarder, let us know your age group, your level of ability and your style so you can be paired with the best guide for you. Up to 3 spaces for an additional surfer or ride along is avaialble for a reduced rate. Ask agent for details.

CHILDREN ON THE SEA SURF CAMP - 3 to 4 hour surf lessons geared for children 5 and up to experience and learn all about the ocean and the thrill of surfing.
