SMITH'S FERN GROTTO CRUISE - The Wailua River winds its way through dense tropical growth and by areas rich in the history and legends of old Hawaii. The Wailua area itself was once royal grounds in the olden days and boat operators will share their fascinating stories while family members will entertain guests with Hawaiian songs. The destination of the cruise is the famous Fern Grotto. In this beautiful, tropical jungle setting, nature has formed a natural amphitheatre with acoustics that are remarkable. Due to severe rain storms this spring the Fern Grotto has been closed. It is expected to re-open in October - A Garden Tram Tour will be offered through an 80 acre botanical garden followed by the Wailua River Tour. TOURS ARE DAILY from 9:00am
