Resort Quest Kauai Beach Luau at Maka'iwa

Guests will embark on a voyage of discovery from Tahiti to Hawaii with the luau of The Hiva Pasefika at the Resort Quest Kauai Beach at Makaiwa near Kapaa. The evening will start with the call of the conch shells and pulsing drums of the South Pacific. After the luau buffet dinner, Tahitian dancers in traditional O'tea costumes will move to the rhythms of the Toere. They will do hulas of yesterday and today utilizing many Hawaiian implements of dance. No show is complete without the great finale of a Samoan "Siva Nifo Oti", or fire knife dance and you'll be amazed by the performance. (Formerly known as Kauai Coconut Beach Luau)

HIVA PASEFIKA LUAU - experience the heritage and tradition of Kauai at this award winning Hawaiian luau. The evening begins with a torch lighting ceremony and a lei greeting as you enter the luau grounds. After the Imu ceremony the luau feast begins and includes an open bar throughout the evening. Following dinner, experience an All-Hawaiian luau show choreographed by Tihati Productions. This performance offers guests a magical tour with native songs and dances capturing the legend and lore of the "Garden Isle" of Kauai. HAWAIIAN LUAU and SHOW Roasted Kalua Pig, Polynesian Chicken, Sauteed MahiMahi, Beef Teriyaki, Baked Taro and Sweet Potato, Assorted Salads and Fresh Fruits, Poi, Fried Rice, Rolls Haupia (Coconut Pudding), Coconut Cake, Pineapple Ruby Check-in: at the hotel lobby Reception on the oceanfront lawn, (weather permitting) conch Procession to Dinner in the luau tent, Pareo Fashion Show and Polynesian Revue Show Preferred seating not available at this time Nightly except Monday (days and times may vary thru season, with sunset)
