Catamaran Kahanu
During the Summer months (May 5th through September 15th) the Catamaran Kahanu offers a fabulous tour to the Na Pali Coast. The Na Pali Coastline is considered by many to be among the most beautiful coastlines in the world and the snorkeling here is fabulous as well. The Catamaran Kahanu is somewhat smaller than many of the boats that traverse this coastline and because of its smaller size is allowed to swim and snorkel at the ancient site of an extinct fishing village on the Na Pali Coastline called Nu'alolo Kai. The smaller size of the vessel also translates into more personalized attention from the captain and crew who are primarily local Hawaiian in ancestry. The local family who own and run these charters have been residents of Kauai's North Shore all their lives and have a personal historical link to the various sites you'll be seeing along the Na Pali shore. …
