The Catamaran Kamanu offers daily snorkeling tours off the coast of Kauai. During the summer months these snorkel tours generally take you to the spectacular Na Pali Coast which has remarkable snorkeling as well as magnificent views. In the Winter months there may often be more difficult weather and high surf which would rule out a snorkel tour to the Northern Shores and more suitable conditions may be found in areas to the South. The Catamaran Kahanu offers a couple of advantages not available to some of the larger boat companies. One is its size as it takes only small groups of usually eighteen persons or less. Secondly, the boat is owned and operated by a local Hawaiian family who has its lineage deeply ingrained in the fabric and culture of Kauai and this makes the experience even more authentic.
