I was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Maui. I have always lived on the islands except for some summers I spent in Road Island teaching sailing and 5 years in Oregon studying marketing and philosophy. I have spent time on all 6 of the major islands but Maui has always been my favorite and my home ‘Maui No Ka Oi’.
I have been working with Tom Barefoot’s Tours ever since I finished college at Southern Oregon University. I was friends with Jake since high school and became fast friends when we realized we were attending the same college. When I came back to Maui I was doing odd jobs waiting tables, and working on snorkel boats until one day I got the opportunity to start working with Tom Barefoot’s Tours, batching images for the website at .15 cents an image. I had a dream of coming back to Maui and working with Jake in the activity industry, so I jumped at the opportunity to get my foot in the door. I continued to prove myself and worked my way through almost every position in the company, ultimately ended up at sales manager, giving me a unique perspective.
Over the years I have attended every tour we offer here on Maui and made it a point to do as many as possible whenever I am on an outer island. I have found that it’s a difference of night and day explaining an excursion you have attended vs. one you have only read about. I am always striving to stay as up-to-date as possible with the ever changing Hawaiian activity industry, so I can help all of our customers have the best possible experience while visiting our paradise.

What I Like To Do
I am a computer nerd who loves sports. Most days I head to the beach after work to surf, play volleyball, or just got for a run if there is no one around. Then I often spend long nights in front of my computer trying to crack difficult problems.
