I'm Lori and I've called the foothills of Iao Valley in Maui my home for over a decade.
After growing up in New York City and living in Washington DC for over 20 years as a sucessful florist, Hawaii was only the place to order vibrant tropical flowers until my hopena (fate) led me to this serene gentle place. The way of life is so much more simple here, and I am humbled everyday by the vast spectacular beauty that is Hawai'i.

I'm a certified State Tour Guide, more of a travel planner who loves to help (malama) find the answers to small detailed questions, a customer quality control representative when I go to experience the excursions listed on this website with the minds eye of my client. Next semester, at Maui Community College, I'll be taking a Hawaiian language course, and conversational Japanese. My hope is to help visitors to this magnificent place get the most satisfaction and joy during the short time they're here in the islands. I have an unquenchable thirst for more knowledge of the Hawaiian culture and love to share what I learn with everyone. The history, myths and legends, directions and advice on where to eat, facts about the climate zones, the best way to find out what the weather will be like tomorrow..whatever it is you want to know, I can help!

My favorite types of experiences are anything in or on the water (wai), and I am awe-struck by the visions of huge waterfalls seen from the window of a helicopter. I look forward to helping YOU make the most of your precious time in this inspiring land of Aloha.

We just wanted to thank you for all your help and suggestions on our activity bookings. Your first-hand, experienced advice was invaluable and it made a huge difference. Also, I independently researched all the costs and your prices came up lower for all activities. We had a fabulous time in Kauai -- truly memorable. Our land, sea and air adventures were soooo much fun. I would very highly recommend Sunshine Helicopters, Kipu Ranch Adventures and Kauai Sea Tours. First class seats are the only way to go on the helicopter and worth the extra money. Taking a rhino ATV through the mud puddles and jungles of spectacular Kipu Ranch was awesome. Exploring the Na Pali coast seacaves in a Zodiac was unforgettable. All of the captains were knowledgeable, personable and funny. We can't wait to do it all again next year!

I just wanted to relay to you my most heartfelt thanks for making our trip to Maui a most special family time. Initially, I was providentially led to you as a result of my queries into Maui Sporting Clays. Aloha Lori,
We biked down the Volcano!
Although the morning started out with a monsoon - we decided to bike down anyway and were rewarded with lots of rainbows and double-rainbows! Absolutely breathtaking views! A great way to see the island!

We snorkeled with fishes, whales, dolphins and turtles!
The kids loved the bumpy ride on the boat and yipped and hollered like drunken bronco riders!

We zip-lined our hearts-out!
The zip-line crew were super nice and professional. We even learned some acrobatics on the zipline!
It was Awesome!

We did bike rides on Haleakala and Kiluea, plus snorkeling at Molokini. We also did the zip line and kayak safari along with the Air Ventures plane ride on Kauai. I was probably a tad ambitious, since we were all pooped, but each of us had a great time and came home with a smile.

Hey Tom's Barefoot!
We had a great time. I wrote to Lori earlier as she had booked or trips , and I did reviews for each of the trips we took. We had a blast on every one of them, as usual. I believe this is the fouth time we have booked with you guys, and it just keeps getting better and Better. Your on line chat with trip planners makes it easy. We told Lori what we wanted to do, and when and how we wanted to space the trips out over our two weeks on the Big Island and it turned out just perfect.
We can recommend you at the highest level. The first time we came to Hawaii we decided to wing it, and didn't get to do any of the adventures while we were there. By booking ahed of time through you guys it's no worry and no fuss. Once your on the island of your choice it's all go and no wasting time waiting for returned phone calls telling you the trip has been booked and is unavailable.
