Maui has a number of different harbors or ports. The volume of boat traffic passing through each is at times astounding. The largest harbor of Kahului is responsible for bringing most of the items onto the island that are utilized by the population but the harbors of Lahaina, Maalaea and the Kihei Boat Ramp are primarily used for departing cruises such as snorkel adventures, diving trips, whale watches, fishing charters, sunset sails, dinner cruises and ferry boats that take passengers from Maui to Molokai and Lanai.
If you are taking one of the activity cruises from one of these harbors it might be helpful to check out the harbor you'll be departing from on the list to the right so you can get an idea about the location you'll be leaving from.
