Zip Isle Zip Line Adventure
The Zip Isle Zip Line Adventure combines the excitement of a fantastic zipline course with the culture and beauty of the World Botanical Gardens on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The tour at Zip Isle Zip Line Adventures is only two hours in duration but packs all the excitement into a one-hundred-and-fifty foot suspension bridge and seven separate zip lines flying above and through the canopy of a Hawaiian rainforest. All the zips are fun with waterfalls surrounding you in every direction but the last zip is special as it is a two person zip line that allows you to race with a fellow zip line rider to the end of the course. The World Botanical Garden is the second special treat of this adventure. This amazing place is serene and peaceful and you can take a walk along nature trails and see hundreds of wild orchids, with over one-hundred species of bromeliads and over five-thousand species of flowers and plants. …
| Description: Botanical World Gardens and Umauma Falls is home to peace and beauty. The Gardens are located 16 miles North of Hilo, Hawaii, and consist of 300 acres of prime agricultural land abutting the Belt Highway on the east, and extending 1.5 miles up the slope of the extinct Mauna Kea Volcano to the West. The northern border is the Umauma River which feeds the triple-tiered Umauma waterfalls with its cascading 300 foot drop. Enjoy the peace and quiet among the trees as you walk the nature trail winding through the rain forest. Stroll beside the 80-meter-long wall covered with hundreds of wild orchids and our colorful Rainbow Walk which includes 100 species of Bromeliads. 5,000 speciaes of flowers and plants. Mango trees, Guava, Papaya, Pineapple, Banana, Breadfruit and much more. You can take a guided tour with Garden Director and horticultural expert, Dr. Lanny Neel or take your own self-guided tour by car and on foot.
