Mauna Lani Sea Adventures
A full array of diving options are available from Mauna Lani Sea Adventures on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The coastline off the coast of the Mauna Lani Resort Boathouse Dock where the various dives depart from is rich in the number of dives sites available for its charters and all are located in areas that are very close. This coastline is almost pristine in its appearance and the visibility underwater is remarkably far. These facts alone make it a fantastic place for Mauna Lani Sea Adventures to operate its dives. Dives are available daily for certified one tank dives and also for certified two tank dives on a very personalized twenty-one foot power catamaran that only takes a maximum of six passengers. Depending upon which dive you may choose the dive will last either three or four hours in duration. This is an excellent area for refresher divers because of its extreme beauty and its depth of dive which averages about forty feet. In addition introductory dives are available which spend a bit of time in the pool and then submerge in the ocean for a one-tank dive. The maximum size of these one tank dives is four persons. Night dives are a big draw on the Big Island and these dives are available upon request with a two person minimum and of course dive certification classes are available as well.…
| Description: Certified 1 or 2 tank dives are available. Includes all gear. Over a dozen dive sites within minutes of the dock. See amazing lava tubes, caves and archways. Coral; finger, cauliflower and brain, just to name a few. Average dive depth is 35-55 feet; deeper dives are available upon request for the experienced diver.

| Description: Combination of pool and shore session to learn the basics of diving for non-certified divers. Pool intro and a one-tank dive in the ocean. The ocean dive is for approximately 30 minutes at a depth of 25 to 30 feet. Ideal for students 12 years and older who are in good health.

| Description: Courses offered include Basic Open Water Certification to Advanced Open Ocean Certification and Student Referral programs. Student Referral Classes - are held at the Boathouse and includes 4 to 6 open ocean dives, all gear and materials. Student Referral Packet required and must be presented to instructor and class times to be arranged with Instructor. Basic Open Ocean Certification - are held at the Boathouse and comprise of a 30 hour course over a period of 5 to 7 days.
