The Kona Surf Company stands alone in the surfing world of the Big Island of Hawaii by being located in a singular private business location just across the road from the very best beginner surfing location on the island, the beautiful Kahaluu Bay. The Kona Surf Company offers lessons to accommodate all skill levels and ages and instructors can take you from never having set foot in the ocean to being able to ride your own wave. Surf lessons cover all the basics from surf etiquette all the way to buying your own surfboard. | Description: Your 2 Hour Private Group Lesson is taught by Kona Surf's lifeguard, C.P.R and First Aid trained Instructors. Lessons start onshore with a private, short and very imformative briefing, to teach ocean awareness, environmental awareness, basic pre-surf stretching exercises and safety. Then head into the tropical waters of Kahalu'u Bay to catch your first wave! You will be with just your best friends or significant other in a 2 or 3 surfers with your own instructor and he will be in the water with you as a personal Lifeguard, Cheerleader, Coach and Tug Boat for every step of the way!
